Australia’s Dumbest Criminals ( Volume One)

From what could be described as a scene from the movie ‘The Hangover’ two Welsh tourists woke up to find a Penguin in their hotel room on the Gold Coast without any recollection of how it got there. Until they checked Facebook and saw they had a grand old time at Seaworld the night before .

Meanwhile , in Sydney one blokes morning went downhill after he crashed into a few cop car’s. Once they finally caught up with him his morning went from bad to worse.

When your a criminal , you generally dont call the cop’s , even if someone shoots you .. But one dumb crim forgot this rule and called them anyway .. only for them, to find a huge crop of weed and a few stolen bikes on his property.

Are these guys Australia’s Dumbest Criminals ?  Grab a coldy and join me as I tell you these stories and a few more and decide for yourself !

I’d love to hear who you think takes the crown of Dumbest Crim for Volume one of Australi’a Dumbest Criminal’s ! Hit me up on :

Whales in Kakadu

Only in 2020 could Humpback Whales get stuck in a croc infested river in Kakadu , NT . For a start , they have no business being in the area as they should be well and truly on their way to Antarctica by now . But hey , not much surprises me at the moment ! Join me as I give you the update on how they are going and what the plan is to get them out of there – I will do another update in a few days , hopefully its good news !!

* disclaimer – I accidentally refer to crocs as alligators at some point at the end of the episode ( probably because the river is called East Alligator River which is bloody confusing for tourists but anyway )…. – I definitely meant crocs , sorry !!

He even got a letter from the Queen . He did go to war with Australia at one point .. for 48 hours until he declared that Hutt River had won the war. It’s that easy folks ….

Hotel Coolgardie

Outback WA is often referred to as the Wild West and this documentary by Peter Gleason dives right into the wild side of remote pubs.

Located 50 kms west of Gold mining town Kalgoorlie sits the tiny town of Coolgardie , a self confessed ghost town of the Goldfields . The Denver Hotel is one of its main attractions , along with the local swimming pool.

The doco is centred around the Denver Hotel , and the experience of the two Finnish backpackers , Lina and Stephie , who found work there through a Perth based agency. Join me today as I give you my thoughts on Coolgardie , the bloke that ran the show and what I thought of the treatment of Lina and Steph .
